Description
Vintage Hand-Chased Moroccan Tray – 95cm
This exceptional vintage Moroccan tray was hand-chased by master metalworkers using early hammering techniques that predate machine tooling. At an impressive 95cm, it sits in the highest tier of collectible Moroccan trays — a size rarely seen on the market and highly sought after by stylists, collectors, and luxury interiors.
Every motif across the surface has been individually hammered: interlocking star geometry, floral medallions, and dense borders that create extraordinary depth and texture. The rolled edge confirms early fabrication, produced before Moroccan workshops transitioned to cast or lightweight aluminium trays.
The surface shows age, patina, light distortions, and imperfections consistent with decades of handling. These characteristics are evidence of authenticity and contribute to the value, making this tray a true investment-level piece.
