Carved PVC Dolphin Light – Zimbabwe
This carved PVC dolphin light is delicately cut from creamy PVC pipe, creating a smooth off-white shade that blends quietly into any space during the day. When illuminated, the lamp transforms. A warm, white or coloured globe throws the carved dolphin scene into crisp silhouette against a glowing amber background, revealing layers of underwater detail and creating a striking ambient effect.
Each lamp is hard-wired to take a standard globe, with an inline switch for convenience. These pieces were produced in limited numbers by a small workshop in Zimbabwe using a unique hand-carving technique. Production is no longer active, and only a handful remain, making the lamps increasingly sought after by collectors and lovers of artisan lighting.
