Description
Vintage Moroccan Debossed Collector Tray – 86cm (Architectural Sunburst Design)
This exceptional vintage Moroccan tray was hand-chased by master metalworkers using traditional hammering techniques that predate machine tooling. At 86cm, it sits in the upper tier of oversized Moroccan trays, a scale rarely found today and highly sought after by collectors, stylists and luxury interiors.
Every geometric motif—radiating starwork, fine rosettes and layered borders—has been individually hammered, creating depth and movement that modern production cannot reproduce. The rolled rim confirms an early fabrication era, made before Moroccan workshops shifted toward stamped or lightweight aluminium trays.
The surface carries age, wear, patina and subtle irregularities consistent with decades of use. These natural imperfections are integral to its authenticity and part of what makes early trays of this size so valuable.
